Zoomers Amusement Park is an 18 acre indoor/outdoor family amusement park in Fort Myers, Florida. Located on the way to Fort Myers Beach and the islands of Captiva and Sanibel, Zoomers features an indoor Family Fun Arcade, Mini-Bowling, two Go-Kart tracks, 18-Hole Voodoo Island Mini Golf Course, Bumper Boats, Tilt-A-Whirl, Cobra Rollercoaster, Outdoor Laser Tag, and six Midway Rides. Zoomers also offer birthday party packages, group and corporate events, and fundraising opportunities.
The Southwest Florida area was severely impacted by the real estate market collapse, and is still recovering from unprecedented unemployment and foreclosure. Zoomers was originally slated to open in 2006, but the original owner ran out of funds. The park languished half-finished a sad symbol of economic woes, until it was purchased in 2011. The new owners began work immediately, demolishing unsafe structures and completely overhauling the property. Zoomers Amusement Park held its Grand Opening on June 15, 2012 to the fanfare of local news organizations, and the delight of locals and tourists alike.
Zoomers Z-Cards and VIP Z-Cards can be purchased for any amount, reloaded, and are used throughout the facility for the convenience and security of our guests. The VIP program is free, and includes special discounts and offers. Z-Cards keep track of all points earned, and remaining funds and points can be checked at kiosks. Zoomers has an impressive collection of popular video and redemption games in the air-conditioned Family Fun Arcade. Redemption game prizes include iPads, cameras, and other electronic equipment. The Winners Circle offers an array of prizes for earned points, from toys and candy, to designer purses, lava lamps, and bicycles. Zoomers Mini-Bowling lanes are located indoors near the Family Fun Arcade, and do not require shoe rentals. The mini bowling balls are great for all ages and groups. Zoomers boast two distinct Go-Kart Tracks – the Road Track and the Slick Track. The Road Track offers double Go-Karts. Our Slick Track is a true slick track, designed for licensed drivers due to the technical skill required, and features a new state-of-the-art timing system. Our new Rookie Karts allow our younger guests a chance to drive their own Kart.
Zoomers offers outdoor fun for all ages. The Amusement Rides include Bumper Boats, Cobra Rollercoaster, and the Tilt-A-Whirl. The six Midway Rides are specially designed for our younger guests, and include the Pirate Ship, Frog Hopper, Chair Swing, Mini Toot Train, Under the Sea, and Gorilla Show. The Voodoo Island Mini-Golf is a full 18-hole course, and you can pan for gemstones, fossils, or shells at the Zoomers Mining, or compete at our Outdoor Laser Tag. Zoomers is committed to giving back to the Southwest Florida area. We hosted fundraisers for the Ronald McDonald House, local schools, Scouting, Kiwanis Clubs, and thanked our local government employees with a free event.
