Edison’s…What a Bright Idea! Edison’s Entertainment Complex is the St. Louis area’s newest home of Genius Level Fun for Everyone! Edison’s is a 30,000 sq. ft. facility featuring 12 lanes of boutique bowling, a 3,400 sq. ft. jungle-themed laser tag arena, 50-game state-of-the-art arcade, a full-scale lounge and restaurant, and five great rooms for birthday parties, meetings and more. Edison’s primary goal is to provide guests with a second-to-none entertainment experience, which is delivered by anticipating and exceeding the needs of each guest. With a something-for-everyone approach, Edison’s truly is a place where the kids can do their thing while mom and dad relax. Whether you’re having a blast in laser tag, relaxing by the patio fireplace, or just getting together for dinner, there’s a space in Edison’s that is perfect for every member of the family. But the fun isn’t exclusive to families. College students, retired folks, and adults out for the night all enjoy the upscale energy at Edison’s.
With leather couches at the lanes, large projection screen TVs and lane service, Edison’s is comfortable and exciting! Edison’s is the creation of managing partners Matt McSparin and Terry Rujawitz. As these two local entrepreneurs were finalizing the concept of this new entertainment complex in the St. Louis suburb of Edwardsville, IL, they told friends about this rare combination of food, beverage and entertainment. Everyone they talked to exclaimed, “What a great idea!” With the electric atmosphere and excitement of the new idea, “Edison’s” was a natural name for the venue. Carrying that theme further, Edison’s lounge and restaurant serves up a full-scale menu of Inventive Eats -n- Drinks. With all food made in-house daily, Edison’s adds a creative spin to a reasonably priced menu of American comfort food favorites. Signature food items include the “Egg-lectric Club,” which takes the traditional club sandwich, piles it high, and adds a fried egg on top. The “Grilled Cheesiest Burger” puts the traditional half-pound burger patty between two grilled cheese sandwiches. And the drink menu is overflowing with affordable options such as skinny cocktails, boat drinks, and recreated classic cocktails.
Edison’s Entertainment Complex’s sole tenant is Tango Frozen Yogurt, which offers tasty fro-yo flavors and toppings with a creative décor that makes it a perfect partner to Edison’s. Edison’s is a versatile space and can accommodate parties from 2 to 500 guests. During the first week of operation, Edison’s successfully hosted an 80-person surprise 40th birthday party and a corporate party for 300. Since then, Edison’s has been the place for engagement parties, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, church outings, team parties, corporate meetings, company outings, and of course, kids’ birthday parties! Edison’s is expanding its current roster of two leagues into six leagues, including both bowling and laser tag. Edison’s is actively involved in the local Chamber of Commerce and supports local sports teams and charities through donations and fundraising events. With a strong bond to the local community, Edison’s plans to continually reinvent the benchmark of Genius Level Fun for Everyone!
